Oracle 10g Integrated Campaign

Oracle 10g was the first infrastructure software designed for enterprise grid computing. The solution helped companies reduce costs through
server consolidation, improved productivity and a pay-as-you-grow scalability model. 

We were hired to create an executive appointment setting campaign to help Oracle partners promote 10g to their top prospects and secure a face-to-face meeting. With the start of spring training, we designed the campaign with a baseball theme and accompanying messaging. The program components included a boxed gift item—in this case we sent a best-selling sports book—and a coordinating collateral piece. The collateral piece used baseball references and aligned the benefits of Oracle 10g to the bases on a field. Oracle has outstanding stats on their application’s performance, so we included this information in a box titled Batting Average. Included in this program was telemarketing to cleanse the partner’s database prior to mailing, and then to implement appointment setting calls on behalf of the partner after the mail dropped. If the recipient completed an appointment with the Oracle partner, they received a high-value gift—in this case it was a Major League Baseball (MLB) gift card.
