Oracle Apps

Although Oracle is primarily known for it’s industry-leading database solutions, the company also offers a series of applications—including their own developed solutions, as well as those gained by acquisition. Among these applications are their enterprise-resource planning (ERP) solutions; Oracle e-Business Suite and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. 

To support their new channel partners, who were exclusively focused on sales opportunities with small and mid-size companies, we were hired to create an executive appointment setting program designed to get them in front of decision-makers at their top prospective accounts. We centered the theme around the core value proposition of Oracle’s unified information architecture and the benefits of up-to-date and accurate information across the business, including informed decision-
making and the ability to respond to opportunities quickly. The messaging for the piece was Expand Your View—See More, Know More, Achieve More and was accompanied by visuals including nature and hiking imagery. As part of the overall design elements, we leveraged a map on the packaging as well as for the collateral piece, and referenced the partner as a ‘guide’. The program components included a custom printed box, complete with a die cut to house the gift—a Highgear 7-in-1 Adventure Tool—and collateral piece. The program was designed to include telemarketing to cleanse the partner’s list upfront, and then implement appointment setting calls after the piece had mailed. If the prospect completed an appointment with the partner, they would receive a high-value gift—in this case it was a hand-held GPS unit.
