Phoenix Valley Metro provides transportation solutions to greater Maricopa county, including commuter bus service, dial-a-ride, vanpool
service, online carpool matching
system and METRO light rail. 

We were hired to help Valley Metro create a Web strategy and site design that would support their evolving needs, while presenting transit customers with the information most important to them. Identified priorities for content included a trip planner, up-to-the minute rider alerts, news updates and an area to direct their two core audiences—commuters and businesses—for additional information. Valley Metro already had a strong brand identity and color palette in place, so we worked with them to expand on what they had with complimentary options. Our Web strategy simplified the vast amounts of site content into core areas with accompanying navigation that was user-friendly and intuitive. We also incorporated a billboard on the home page that leveraged Flash to create interest, while enabling Valley Metro to promote new services and capabilities more prominently.
